What can you get financing for?
Business premises
Buying or refinancing premises your business uses for at least half. Lenders go up to about 90% of the value, depending on the property and the business.

What types of business financing are there?
| Type of financing | Suited for | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Business loan or overdraft from a bank | Investments, working capital and business premises | Usually the lowest rate, but banks assess track record, figures and security strictly. |
| Leasing | Vehicles, machinery and fixtures | The asset itself is the security, so leasing is often arranged faster than a bank loan. |
| Factoring | Working capital from outstanding invoices | A large part of your invoices is paid out straight away, so you do not have to wait for customers. |
| Alternative lenders | Growth, bridging and requests that do not fit a bank | Direct lenders, lending platforms and crowdfunding often decide faster and more flexibly, usually at a higher rate. |
| Microcredit and SME credit | Start-ups and smaller businesses | Qredits lends up to € 50,000 as microcredit and from € 50,000 to € 250,000 as SME credit. |
| Property financing | Your own business premises or investment property | The value of the property and, if it is let, the rental income determine how much you can borrow. |
Not enough security for a bank loan? The lender can then use the Dutch government's SME credit guarantee scheme (BMKB). You do not apply for it yourself: the bank or another participating lender uses it in your application. The BMKB runs until 1 July 2027.
What does a lender need from you?
- Annual accounts for the last two to three years
- Recent interim figures for this year
- A forecast or budget, and a business plan for a start-up or acquisition
- An overview of current loans, lease and rental contracts
- Documents on the purpose, such as quotes, a purchase agreement or a valuation
- A Chamber of Commerce extract and valid ID

Common questions about business financing
What does the financing check cost?
The financing check is free and without obligation. If you then want help with your application, we agree the cost in advance, so there are no surprises.
Am I applying for financing with the check?
No. The check gives a first picture of the types of financing that fit your request, and your details come straight to me. We only apply to a lender together, if you want to and once we know which route suits you best.
Which amounts does the financing check cover?
The check covers amounts from € 25,000 to € 5,000,000. For a smaller or larger amount, call or email me directly. Smaller amounts can go to a microcredit, for example, and for larger amounts I often combine several lenders.
Can I get business financing as a start-up?
Yes, but there is less choice than for an established business. Lenders ask start-ups for a business plan, a balanced budget and usually a contribution of their own. The check has a separate route for starting a business, and Qredits focuses on start-ups and smaller businesses.
How quickly is business financing arranged?
That depends on the type of financing and how complete your documents are. Leasing and factoring are often arranged faster than a bank loan or property financing. Having recent annual accounts, interim figures and a forecast ready saves the most time.
What happens to my data?
In the second step you enter your details with Capsearch, the platform I use to compare lenders. Your request reaches me there and is only used to advise you on financing. Capsearch has its own privacy and cookie policy; see also my privacy statement.
Can I combine business financing with my personal mortgage?
Yes, and that is where I add most value. I combine business financing with mortgage advice and property guidance, for example to check whether premises fit better in your company or privately, or whether equity in your home is a smart source of your own contribution.
